Present the details of the Foreign Minister's visit to the US to Parliament -UNP General Secretary Tissa Attanayake requests

The United National Party requests the Government to reveal facts in Parliament pertaining to the Foreign Affairs Minister’s American tour. UNP General Secretary Thissa Attanayaka made this request while addressing a press conference held in Colombo today. UNP General Secretary also made a special request to reveal details pertaining to the discussion held between the Foreign Affairs Minister and the US Secretary of State.

The UNP states that it is ready provide the government with its fullest support to help make the parliamentary select committee successful. In a press conference held today in Colombo UNP General Secretary Tissa Attanayaka stated that the opposition parties are also ready to support too if the government shows its maximum dedication regarding the select committee. The joint opposition is scheduled to start an island wide protest movement against the government in the months of June, July and August.
